    Child Seat

Consumer stated that it was verbally implied that car seats were applicable and useable in rear cab of vehicle. Owner's manuel boldly states don't use car seats. Existing symbol in rear of cab shows car seat usage. Also, when talking to dealership they stated child seats can be used in vehicle. Consumer called nissan , manufacturer, and they stated child seats can't be used in rear of vehicle because it will not fit.

  • Child Seat

I am concerned about the safety of my child or myself sitting in the jumper seats of this truck. I was told by dot that a 3 pt. Seat beat was safest. It is recommended that children sit in the back of vehicles, but since there is only a lap belt, how safe is it for a 6 year old to sit in the jumper seat? Does crash tests show that the lap belt is sufficient for adults sitting in the jumper seat?*ak
