While driving and attempting to stop at a stop sign the brakes became spongy (not firm) and pedal traveled to the floor resulting in longer braking distances unless i pump the pedal. This occurred after applying the brakes ahead of a stop sign as the vehicle rolled over a bump/irregularity in the road. The abs and vdc (anti-slip) activated briefly then the pedal got soft. It remained in this condition (spongy and…

While driving the truck will shut off just like the key was turned off. This happened one or two times a day over a ten day period, i swapped my old key with my wife's key and the problem went away. I took it to a nissan dealership and they wanted to do $7000 of repairs and nothing about the key and ignition switch problem. So i have been using my wife's key for the past five days and no issues. Nissan claims they…

At ambient temperatures less than 10 degrees, the abs light and traction control light will illuminate upon first movement. This disables the abs system and the traction control system, it will also disable the [redacted] system if not engaged before movement. Ambient temp must rise above 25 degrees to reverse the symptoms. This is a serious safety hazard for anyone that lives in a cold climate.
